We received the stray cat. She is terribly in bad shape.
And she is severely dehydrated.
She is having yellow discharge from the vulva and her mammary gland is engorged. Felt some fetal mass upon palpation.
She got fractured mandible. Necrotic right eye popped out. Left ear with pus and blood discharge. And she is suspicious to be be pregnant.We started cleaning her face and flushing her ear.
Will start her on IV fluids and antibiotics safe for fetus in case pregnant or if the fetus still alive. Her temperature is low only at 35.6C which is not really good.Will keep her on iv fluid warmer and try to elevate her temperature with blow drying.
Plan is to at least get her stable and we will need to work on next plan on confirming her pregnancy.
